Maria is a Zurich-based movement teacher and strength coach known for her creative sequencing and anatomically-informed approach to yoga and mobility. Born and raised in Athens, she brings a Mediterranean warmth and groundedness into everything she teaches. Her work blends the introspection of yoga with the science of strength and the precision of mobility training, offering a practice that is both expressive and intelligent.

Her journey began in 2008 after completing her studies in Fashion, when she moved to New York City and completed a 200-hour teacher training with Atmananda Yoga. Since then, Maria has pursued extensive education in movement and anatomy, including a 500-hour training with Dharma Mittra and over 500 hours of advanced study with Yoga Medicine under Tiffany Cruikshank. Her completed modules include detailed studies of the spine, hips, shoulders, myofascial release, Chinese Medicine, and all core anatomy components.

She is a 500-hour E-RYT with the Yoga Alliance, an NSCA-Certified Personal Trainer, and a Kinstretch and FRC mobility specialist credentials that reflect her deep understanding of the body in motion.

Maria’s classes are rooted in anatomical clarity and creative flow. Her teaching blends yoga, mobility, and strength training in a way that’s both creative and therapeutic while helping students build awareness, resilience, and longevity in their practice. Each session is uniquely crafted to support her students.

Paired with music, her vinyasa-based classes guide students through strong, intelligently designed sequences with a focus on alignment, anatomical precision, and deep connection. Maria encourages her students to explore their physical and mental potential while honoring their own unique structure and experience.

She teaches her classes in English.
